RevolutionKids September 2018

Find out what your kids are up to this month in RevolutionKids to continue the conversations and spiritual growth at home.

We’re introducing a new curriculum this fall!

We’re excited about this new curriculum we will be using in the RevolutionKids’ classrooms published by SeedBed Kids. Using a mixed agriculture and time-travel theme, the children will go through the Old Testament in chronological order, learning many highlights of the Old Testament stories. At the same time, they will learn of the many glimpses of the coming Savior, as revealed in the New Testament. They will soon understand that in the Old Testament, Jesus was present but concealed, whereas in the New Testament, Jesus was revealed. Each week, the children will also learn practical lessons of personal application to assist them in their own spiritual growth. Children will experience:

  • Old Testament to New Testament Evidence
  • Biblical Memory Work
  • Evidence of Grace
  • Church-Home Connection Tools
  • Age Appropriate Content and Differentiation
  • Praise & Worship that Reinforces Lessons

What We’re Teaching.

This month we’re introducing our new curriculum!

The first two weeks of September we will be doing lessons targeted for teaching kids more about why we tithe to the church (our call for stewardship of time, money, and talents!) and why we take communion. These two lessons will slow things down to question the things we do each week so that the children understand the why and experience the respect around these practices.

The next three weeks of September, the kids will learn the Truth Trackers pledge and travel back in time to the very beginning. The journey through the Old Testament begins as we seek the truth of God with In the Beginning (There was Truth), Adam (The Lost Tracker), and Noah (The Tracker Who Walked with God).

Each Sunday has a new memory verse, a Take Home Card to continue the learning and a Podcast! Scroll down to find these downloadable resources.

Join us for VBS in 2019.

Mark your calendars for June of next year (most likely the last week of June, but stay tuned for that official announcement). This next year we’re going to Athens to learn the story of Paul. Kids will get to travel back in time to hear God’s word through Paul and the adventures of Athen’s marketplace.

Upcoming Kids’ Night Out!

Saturday, September 8th – 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Saturday, September 22nd – 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Saturday, October 13th – 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Saturday, October 27th – 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Building healthy kids stems from healthy parent relationships. We provide a place for your kids to come and connect with other kids under the supervision of certified childcare workers, while you take a break and care for yourselves. Ages 6 months and up are welcome. The cost is $15 for the first child with a $25 family cap.

Registration closes each week on Thursday night the week of Kids’ Night Out at midnight. Register Here.

Take this into your week.

You’re only 1-click away from engaging with your child on their level about God and the things they are learning! Podcasts continue the lesson for the week and the Take Home Card reinforces what they learned along with the memory verse.
