Serving with Local Release Missions Partner – 4th Avenue United Methodist Church
One of our Release local mission partners is 4th Avenue United Methodist Church. 4th Avenue has been in existence since 1888. One of their primary areas of ministry involves the area of mercy in feeding people who are within the local community through its Open Door Ministry. Five days out of seven during the lunch hour, the people of 4th Avenue as well as local partners are committed to feeding those who are in need of a meal.
Have a love or passion for cooking? Want to be put to work, serve lunch, connect with new people, and take the time and care to listen to others? We prepare and serve hot lunch for guests of Fourth Avenue UMC the last Saturday of each month.
The next event is Saturday 6.24.2017 from 10 am – 1:30 pm.
Please RSVP by clicking HERE if you are interested in serving.
