What to Expect
No pre-qualifications. No to-do lists. No forms to fill out. No entrance exams.
Starting something new can mean lots of stuff before you ever start. But not here. Starting a new chapter with God here means getting rid of the burdens and baggage and gaining a life that makes sense. You might join Revolution as a lifelong Christian or as someone who has never gone to church. Where you begin doesn’t matter. What matters is that the revolution begins in your life.
In-Person or Online
Join us in-person or online at 10:00 on Sunday mornings!
Our in-person gatherings are informal, and include about 30 minutes of contemporary worship and 30 minutes of biblical, applicable, and engaging teaching. We celebrate communion weekly (open to everyone), and services last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Dress comfortably… seriously. You will find everything from business casual to blue jeans, and shorts in the summer. Our chairs are comfy and you’ll always be welcomed with a smile and a chance to meet new people. We are proud to brew Collide Coffee during our services, which helps support missions in places like the Dominican Republic. Grab a cup in our café before the service!
Online gatherings are hosted by a live team that is ready to engage in conversation, prayer (in private chatrooms), and help guide you to all the right places during the service. Public chats begin 10 minutes before each service and end 10 minutes after each service to allow you to introduce yourself and get to know others in our online community.
Kids and Youth
During each service, our kids celebrate worship in our upstairs area with trained, CPR-certified and background-checked staff and volunteers. LittlePeeps range from 6 months to 4 years old and RevolutionKids range from 5 years to 5th grade. There is also a mom’s room for nursing and changing with available audio from the sanctuary so you won’t miss a thing. It’s best to arrive at least 10 minutes before each service to check your kids in upstairs before finding a seat in the sanctuary.
Our youth (6th – 12th grades) are encouraged to join the main worship service with their parents and meet separately from 5:30-7:30 pm on Sundays, along with numerous special events, trips, and missions throughout the year.
We are all real people, with real hurts, habits, and hang-ups that hold us back from living our best life in Christ. Celebrate Recovery is a place where we can be real with each other about our struggles and find hope and strength to overcome. We meet every Wednesday, both in-person and online, beginning at 7:15 pm. Come for our opening worship beginning at 7:15 and stick around (if you want) at 8:00 to join a small focus group where you can dive deeper.
We believe relationships and community are essential to what it means to be the Church. That’s why the vast majority of us are part of small groups called Renovation Groups that meet all over the Louisville area throughout each week. We share life together, pray together, serve together, and grow together.
Ministries like our Sunday worship, our youth and family programs, Celebrate Recovery, and Renovation Groups all happen because of some amazing volunteer leaders, supported by an equally amazing staff. Check out the link below to meet our pastors and staff and to find links to contact them directly.
We believe you aren’t just joining a church, but something bigger: a way of believing, thinking, and living. Jesus called it the Kingdom. We believe the Kingdom is like a revolution that never stops, changing everything it touches. So no matter where you start at Revolution, you are starting here. And here is always good.
