IMPACTStudent Ministries (Grades 6-12)

Youth growing in maturity. Growing in their love for God. Growing in their knowledge of God.

Revolution Youth is for students grades 6-12 to help them experience God’s revolution in their lives. Each year the youth participates in missions such as 4th Avenue lunch service in Louisville, various retreats, scouting and other fun events that build spiritual maturity!

Helpful Tips

  • Youth meets weekly from 5:30 – 7:30pm each Sunday evening.
  • In person meetings are currently cancelled due to COVID-19 recommendations. We are meeting weekly via video conference. Email to join these meets!
  • We always have at least 2 people on staff to connect with, worship with, and teach the students.
  • Dinner is served at each gathering and then followed by games and Bible lesson.

What’s happening for IMPACTStudents of Revolution?

Sunday Night Quarantine Meet

Each Sunday at 5:30pm, we will gather via video call for games and discussion, plus its just nice to see someone else’s face that we aren’t related to.

Communication with links to access the video call, along with details on each week’s activities will come via text alert. If you have a friend that is bored on Sunday’s (or maybe you think it’d be a good idea that they know about God…), have them email so that we can get them added to those text alerts.

Youth Lock-In – TBD

In light of current school closings through the end of April, we are postponing the Annual Lock-In. This will remain on our radar for re-scheduling once quarantine recommendations are relaxed and we are able to re-mingle.

Graduation Sunday – May 24th

TENTATIVELY SCHEDULED – This is subject to change based on COVID-19 recommendations.

During Sunday morning service, the upcoming 6th graders are presented with a certificate of welcome to IMPACTStudents’ Ministry and a Teen Student Bible. Graduating seniors are presented with a certificate of completion and Study Bible to take into their adult years.

That evening the youth group will have festivities to say hello to new arriving youth members. Stay tuned for what we will be doing!

Summer Retreat Cancelled – Stay tuned for something else!

We can’t in good conscience book a beach house with the current state of quarantine measures and not knowing when things will return to normal. In light of that, the summer retreat is cancelled.

HOWEVER, once things return to normal, we will look at either a weekend retreat in late summer or a day at Holiday world (or, who knows what else we may come up with!). We will address this as things progress based on recommendations for gatherings and if locations are opened to the public.
