Rev. Marcus Price, II – Lead Pastor
Pastor Marcus serves Revolution Church as a licensed local pastor in the United Methodist Church. Previously, he has served as a youth pastor (Georgetown First UMC) and the associate pastor of missions and outreach (Middletown UMC). Marcus graduated from Georgetown College, where he met his wife Haley, and continued his theological education at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, where he graduated with a Master of Divinity in 2026. Along with his wife, he has two daughters, a dog named Phoebe, and a cat named Rosemary. Marcus grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, but his family is originally from Southeastern Kentucky. In addition to pastoring Revolution Church, he serves as the University of Louisville Wesley Foundation Campus Pastor. When asked about how he views church: “I believe that church should be a place where people can enter as their authentic selves without fear of judgment. God desires for all people to have a place at the table, and that is where my focus and heart is!”
Who would have guessed? I am colorblind/shade blind to a degree. For this reason, most of the time I am wearing all black! Or at the least, black and very dark navy (lol).
My favorite activities include: Disc golf, woodworking, sketching, and watching college football/basketball.
My favorite candy: Sour Patch Kids or anything sour and chewy! The sourer, the better!
My favorite movie: I love a good movie, so much so that it is almost impossible to pick just one! If I had to choose a single movie to watch for the rest of my life, I would choose Tombstone starring Kurt Russell and Val Kilmer.
My favorite scripture verse: “He said to me, ‘Mortal, can these bones live?’ I answered, ‘O Lord God, you know.’” Ezekiel 37:3. For me, this passage asks the same question so many of us face: can God bring hope and life into this hopeless situation?
Rev. Micah Vandgrift – Assistant Pastor
I have been attending Revolution since 2014, feeling right at home from the very first visit when my daughter began dancing in the aisle during worship. We have found a loving community that has walked alongside us during some amazing years of growth and change. The road we’ve traveled has been long and winding, but even more, it is a beautiful story of God’s grace and guidance. I am grateful for the many blessings that have been poured out upon my family these past few years and I am quite excited to see God at work in my life and in the life of this church.
Who would have guessed? I can’t whistle, but I can do a pretty good headstand.
My favorite activities include: Staring at the sky. I am in awe of the wonder-filled things that happen in the sky everyday. I am that person that will text you just to say “go look at the moon!”
My favorite beverage: Phocus caffeinated sparkling water
My favorite music: 70’s singer-songrwiters such as Harry Chapin and James Taylor
My favorite movie: Serendipity with John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale – the perfect hopeless romantic movie!
My favorite quote: “Wonder is the beginning of wisdom.” – Socrates
Greg Gibson – Treasurer
Greg grew up in Louisville and completed his B.S. in Accounting and M.B.A. at Bellarmine University. He retired from full-time employment after many years of accounting management for both commercial and non-profit organizations. Greg and his wife Faith have been married for 27 years. Greg is an avid golfer and competitive bass angler.
Who would have guessed? I can’t carry a tune in a bucket, but I still sing in the car anyway.
Who would play me in a movie? Patrick Duffy (when I was younger)
My favorite activities include: Fishing + golf
My favorite candy: Milky Way
My favorite movie: North to Alaska (John Wayne)
My favorite verse: Hebrews 11:6
