All throughout the story of Acts we see the power of God showing up in amazing ways wherever the apostles gathered. People were healed, chains were broken, and more and more were added to the number of those who believed. Jesus taught that where two three are gathered in his name, there he is also. And the disciples experienced that even after Jesus’ death because of the power of the Holy Spirit. God is still showing up today among the gathered church community. God’s goodness is revealed, lives are transformed, and believers are sent out into the world to share God’s revolutionary love.
